Welcome to the summer season here at the Grand Opera House York. Our ‘mini brochure’ for this period, listing everything on over the next couple of months, including a sneak preview into the autumn is out now!

Our summer kicks off with our Stage Experience production of Guys and Dolls. Around 80 young people from the local area rehearse and perform this classic show in just two weeks. Following the success of Fame! last summer, this year’s classic Broadway show should delight musical fans of all ages.
This is closely followed by two family shows, both popular book dramatisations. The hit show The Gruffalo returns to York followed by Birmingham Stage Company’s magical production of George’s Marvellous Medicine - fizztickling fun for all ages!
Also don’t miss Dolly, celebrating the leading lady of Country, plus legendary original Rat Pack member Buddy Greco as well as comedy from Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown and lots more...
